ID & FD Fans

The lungs of your process — draft fans built for duty

Overview

What This Equipment Does

Every combustion and gas-cleaning circuit lives or dies by its draft. Forced-draft fans push combustion air in; induced-draft fans pull flue gas through the boiler, ESP or baghouse and out the stack.

We manufacture heavy-duty centrifugal fans with impellers dynamically balanced to ISO grades, casings sized for your system resistance curve and materials selected for temperature and dust abrasion.

How It Works

The Working Principle

01

The impeller accelerates gas radially, converting shaft power into pressure and flow.

02

FD fans supply clean combustion air at positive pressure to the furnace.

03

ID fans, mounted downstream of gas cleaning, hold the furnace under slight negative pressure and drive flue gas to the stack.
